Councillors Julie Davenport and Vicky Culbard will be holding a public meeting in Delapre Far Cotton in Far Cotton Rec Centre (Towcester Road) on 22nd April 2016 7pm-9pm. Also present will be Labour’s excellent candidate for Northamptonshire Police and Crime Commissioner.
It is an opportunity for Labour councillors to talk directly to Delapre and Far Cotton residents about the issues that concern them.
Cllr Julie Davenport said:
“As councillors elected last year we are determined to make sure all residents have a voice and an opportunity to meet their councillors. Delapre and Far Cotton have a great sense of identity.
We would like to hear resident views on parking problems, safety issues near school entrances, potholes, the need for school places, missed bins, fly tipping and so on. Having a public meeting is a great way for councillors to listen views of the general public. Our aspiration is for a cleaner, greener and safer Delapre and Far Cotton.”
Cllr Vicky Culbard said:
“Since May much work has been done but there still much more to do. We want to listen to residents’ concerns and priorities. Once we have their concerns we will take them up with both the Borough Council and County Council”.
Kevin McKeever said:
“Julie and Vicky are doing great work to make Delapre and Far Cotton both cleaner and greener. As the local Police Commissioner I want the area to be safer as well. Delapre and Far Cotton needs front line policing tackling anti-social behaviour and other crimes that blight the community”.
