Empty Garages

Empty garages are causing problems.  They present a danger. Vandalism is costing the council money . We need to bring them back into use.  Maybe making them cheaper to rent or even making them free to tenants as long as they are seen to be used would prevent this sort of damage.

As a last resort they should be demolished before they become dangerous - how long will that fencing last- see pic??  How long will it be before some child falls off the roof while playing- or pestering somebody in their back garden??

There are a few like this on Brickwell court, and ones boarded up, I was on the waiting list for 2 years but gave up in the end because nobody ever got in contact with me even though there are clearly empty garages about.
